Grimm a Hall of Fame finalist again

Former Redskins offensive lineman Russ Grimm is a finalist for the new Hall of Fame class. Grimm has been a finalist before and, bafflingly, not made the cut, despite the fact that the only offensive lineman of the 1980s clearly better than Grimm was Anthony Munoz
In other Grimm-related news, Russ will interview with the New York Jets about their vacant head coaching position. Grimm interviewed for the top job in Pittsburgh two years ago, but lost out to the worthy Mike Tomlin. Grimm is currently assistant head coach/offensive-line coach for the Arizona Cardinals, who play the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the NFC playoffs this weekend.
I find Grimm’s coaching news bittersweet, as I thought the Redskins should have hired him for the top job when Gibbs quit last year.
