Well, the Redskins offensive line was already a mess. Now it’s whatever is worse than a mess. A catastrophe. Pro Bowl LT Chris Samuels has a 50% tear of his left triceps and will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the damage. Stephon Heyer will step in at left tackle to replace Samuels.
RT Jon Jansen, SS Chris Horton and OL Justin Geisinger will all have MRIs done today to see how severely they are injured. If Jansen is out for any period of time, OT Justin Fabini will replace Jansen at RT.
I wonder if the other players envy Samuels. At least the agony of this season is over for him.
