The Washington Redskins bolstered their secondary thanks to the Oakland Raiders odd move of waiving CB DeAngelo Hall. The Redskins signed Hall to a one year deal.
It is unlikely that the team will formally announce the move until tomorrow afternoon. As a rule, players must pass a physical before signing. Hall, a two-time Pro Bowler who had no medical problems with the Oakland Raiders, his most recent team, is expected to take his physical tomorrow.
Hall will join CBs Shawn Springs, Carlos Rogers, and Fred Smoot in the Redskins secondary. What will be interesting is to see what time splits Halls gets on the field, given how successful the Redskins pass defense has been this season, and given that Springs is returning to the lineup after the bye week.
