The Washington Nationals have ended their affilation with the Columbus Clippers for their minor league AAA affiliate. Today, the Washington Nationals signed a two year contract to relocate the AAA ball club to Syracuse, NY. The official deal will be announced on Monday.
According to Bowden, the field at Alliance Bank Stadium is in great shape, and the facilities inside the stadium are an upgrade compared to Columbus, Ohio, and New Orleans, their previous Triple-A affiliates.
