The Washington Redskins began the season with 40-1 odds to win the Super Bowl. Not great, but nothing embarrassing either. Apparently, one game was all it took to scare off the bettors. At Bodog.com, the Skins are now down to 100-1. Only the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins [150-1] are given worse odds. Wow. Bettors think Washington is no more likely to win the Super Bowl than the St. Louis Rams. Ouch. Just…ouch.
Washington’s next opponent, the New Orleans Saints, are given 10-1 odds to win the first Super Bowl in franchise history. The team with the best odds to win it all? You’re not going to like it. Dallas.
