Now, with 10% more suckiness.
That’s 12 straight losses and 19 shutouts on the year. Attention, Lerner family: Your honeymoon is over. Start fixing this thing in the offseason or you’re going to be inviting more empty chairs to your stadium than you’d ever imagined. Knock off the lame excuses, just fix it.

Here is the problem for me. We have a ‘PLAN’ kind of like Ted Leonsis sold us with the Capitals. The difference here is, the Capitals during the phases of the youth rebuild, showed pretty nice signs of progress. They built on successes. Difference with the Nationals is that they are simply getting worse and worse. They can’t hit, can’t score, and their pitching is suspect. There really is not part of this team I would call good, or barely even fair. They are awful. Two years into the ‘PLAN’ you would expect to see some progress, but all I see is further decline.
In addition, Jim Boweden I think has to go. What has Bowden delivered? He didn’t win wit the Reds and he is far, far from winning here.
