Holly Bugel, daughter of Redskins Offensive Line Coach Joe Bugel, has died, finally succumbing to a rare and virulent form of bone cancer. Holly, the 35-year-old second daughter of Joe Bugel, battled osteosarcoma, a very rare cancer that struck less than 1000 Americans last year, but only 5 people were stricken with the same strain of the disease as Holly was. The family had been dealing with Holly’s illness since it was diagnosed last December. Joe Bugel is flying out to Arizona today to be with his family.
DC Pro Sports Report has written repeatedly about Holly’s illness and we followed the news of it with great interest. It is with great sadness that we extend our most sincere condolences to the Bugel family in what must be a time of terrible agony.
