Agent Zero’s deal was officially done yesterday, as Gilbert Arenas returned to D.C.
Ivan Carter’s early observations:
- Andray Blatche is putting upper-body muscle;
- Javale McGee is a legit 7-footer who can really run;
- Dee Brown has the quickness to play both ends, the question about him is his shot.
2006 2nd round pick Vladimir Veremeenko [VV from now on] is in DC to play with the Bullets during the offseason. He’s familiar with the Princeton offense and his pal Oleksiy Pecherov thinks VV can play both power and quick-side forward.
Pecherov, meanwhile, has missed the last 3 practices due to a sprained ankle and will miss at least the first 2 Summer League games. It sure would be nice if OPec could stay healthy for a while so we can get a real look at what he can do.
