Recognitions: DCPSR congratulates Leonard Davis and Craig Stammen
Leonard Davis, recently promoted to Columbus Clippers was named the Player of the Month in the Carolina League, where he played for the Potomac Nationals. Davis hit .407 with 6 HRs and 16 RBIs before landing in Harrisburg for a brief stint.
Craig Stammen was named the Eastern League’s Pitcher of the Week. Stammen pitched two quality starts for the Harrisburg Senators, going 2-0, tossing 14.1 innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 12. Overall, Stammen is 2-1 with an ERA of 1.67 for the season.
