Another week gone by and the consensus of the NBA Mock Draft is more split than ever before. The Largest NBA Mock Database now lists a whopping 91 mock drafts, of which, an impressive 71 of them have been updated since May 20. Those numbers of updates even at times topped out NFL Mock database at hailRedskins.com.

Now, to the consensus or lack there of!
Munching all together the 91 mock drafts, here is the story.
46 Mock Drafts have Michael Beasley being taken FIRST overall. 45 Mocks Drafts have Derrick Rose going FIRST overall.
43 Mock Drafts have Derrick Rose in the number TWO slot, while 42 have Michael Beasley in the TWO slot. 5 Mocks now list OJ Mayo going second overall, while 1 goes with Brook Lopez.
55 Mock Drafts have Brook Lopez going THIRD, 18 have OJ Mayo going third, a large increase for Mayo, 6 have Jerryd Bayless and 3 each have Eric Gordon or Derrick Rose going third. Much stronger consensus for the third slot, and that really has not changed much since our last munching of the mocks.
BUT, is a consensus developing and who is it?
Let’s take a look at the drafts that have been updated SINCE May 20. Of those, 41 Mocks have Derrick Rose going FIRST while 30 have Beasley going FIRST.
Scaling down further, for mocks updated in the last 4 days, since May 25, 13 choose Rose first, while 7 choose Beasley first.
So, although the overall munching does not appear to have a consensus and is virtually evenly split between Beasley and Rose, the recent trend has Derrick Rose as the first choice by the Chicago Bulls, while Beasley slips to second.
