The NBA Mock Database has grown to a total of 85 NBA mock drafts, ranging from national media sites, to fan website, to personal sites, to sports blog to fantasy sports sites. Updates have been massive since the Lottery picks were announced with a total of 53 mock drafts updated since May 20th. We have many news one including our very own Mock Draft.
Michael Beasley and Derrick Rose are still battling it our for the top pick overall. Currently, Beasley leads in the Mocks with 48 mocks projecting him to be first and 35 mocks projecting Rose first. 46 Mocks have Rose going second while 34 have Beasley going second.
A pretty big consensus has developed for the third overall pick, that being Brook Lopez with 56 mock drafts projecting Lopez to be third overall. 15 Mocks have OJ mayo at third and 6 have Jerryd Bayless.
For the Bullets 18th overall pick, no consensus whatsoeever has developed. 10 mocks have the Bullets picking C Kosta Koufos, 9 have them taking C JaVale McGee, 7 have F Marrisse Speights,a dn 7 have Georgetown C Roy Hibbert. Koufos was the choice of DC Pro Sports Report.

It's going to be Beasley, Rose and Lopez. Lopez will be third, but I'm not sure who the Bulls will take. Miami wants Rose and might be willing to trade up to get him, though I don't know if they have anything Chicago would want. I think Chicago should take Rose, but right now I think they'll take Beasley. That could change, though.

Hey, we encourage comments. This is a great place to disucss, particularly because of the updates and mock draft tracking we do. As the guy that updates the Database, there is no real trend. For every mock that has Beasley number one, another comes out with Rose. The only real trend I have seen is that OJ Mayo and Brook Lopez are the consensus choices at #3 with Lopez away ahead. Jerryd Bayless who once commanded several mocks out number three now is barely registering. Top five pick, yes. Top three, doubtful.
