The Washington Redskins traded their first round pick, the 21st overall, to the Atlanta Falcons. Washington also traded the 84th pick, in the third round, and the 154th pick, in the fifth round, to the Falcons. In exchange, Washington received the 34th pick, in the second round, the 48th pick, in the second round, and the 103rd pick, in the 4th round.
Washington now has 3 picks in the 2nd round [34th, 48th, 51st], 1 pick in the 3rd round [96th] and 1 in the 4th round [103rd]. Washington has no pick in the 5th round now, but has 1 in the 6th round and 3 picks in the 7th round.
Not a bad trade. Washington has a ton of problem areas so the more picks, the better.
