Deshawn Stevenson and Antawn Jamison were both injured in the waning seconds of last night’s disgraceful loss to the awful Milwaukee Bucks. Both of them could miss tomorrow’s game against Miami, though Jamison’s injury is apparently worse.
Antawn Jamison, who sprained his right shoulder on the same play, left the arena with his right arm in a sling and did not participate in today’s light practice (it was more like a shootaround). An MRI exam taken today revealed no structural damage to the shoulder and Jamison is officially listed as doubtful for tomorrow night’s game against the Heat.
After the home loss to Milwaukee, I’m tempted to regard all games as possible/probable losses with this Bullets squad, but a game against Miami is the closest thing in the NBA to a sure thing. Therefore, resting Jamison and Stevenson seems like the prudent move to make.
